ICE North East supports over 2,000 members, living and working in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Durham and Tees Valley.

It shares knowledge, influences public infrastructure policy, and encourages innovation and excellence in the civil engineering profession. ICE North East also aims to raise the profile of civil engineering by working with the media, schools and universities.

Robert Stephenson Awards 2020 open!

RSA Awards 2019

Our 2020 Robert Stephenson Awards are now open for entries.

Sponsored by CDM Recruitment the awards are a celebration of civil engineering excellence in the region and ensure projects receive the recognition and prestige they deserve.

Last year's winners were Greatham Flood Alleviation Scheme (large category), Whitley Bay Central Promenade (medium category) and River Leven Erosion Scheme (small category.

Winners are announced at the ICE North East Annual Dinner which will take place on Friday 3 April at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park.
