  Darren currently works for Atkins, part of the SNC-Lavalin Group. He has spent his entire career working in the Energy industry, predominantly in the UK. His main area of expertise is in the nuclear sector, having been involved in significant decommissioning, new build and defence projects as well as working to keep the existing fleet of nuclear stations operating safely.

Volunteers needed

Are you interested in the civil engineering issues around energy? If so, the ICE Energy panel needs you!

We are looking for volunteers with:

• Good energy project experience
• An enquiring mind
• And some free time

To help in our panel work. Often this is writing Briefing Sheets, reviewing current content and developing new panel outputs such as conferences, lectures, consultation responses, information sheets or blogs.
