Overview

This is for members based in London and the South East.

This workshop provides guidance on how to prepare for your End Point Assessment. It is applicable to anyone who will be sitting their EPA in the next year and is on one of the following Technician level English Apprenticeships

  • Railway Engineering Design Technician Apprenticeship version 1.1
  • The Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship 1.1
  • Civil Engineering Senior Technician Apprenticeship version 1.1

Please note that the Technician Apprenticeship Standards have changed. This workshop is for Apprentices on the newer standards (version 1.1). It is essential that you know which version of the standard you are on before booking – if you are on a version 1.0 standard, please contact us to find out when the next v1.0 workshop will take place. If you are not sure which version of the standard you are on, please check with your employer or training provider.

At the workshop, we will cover all aspects of the EPA:

  • The application process and timeline
  • How to evidence the KSBs
  • The portfolio of evidence
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) records
  • The Technical Project Brief
  • Preparing for the EPA day

We will also have an optional second session, which will be a 1-1 meeting with an MDO to discuss any queries you have and help review any drafted documentation. These meetings will be scheduled in to suit your application timeline and will be arranged at the end of the workshop.
