Graduates and Students: A glance into the digital journey of a construction company, webinar

About this event

Please note that this webinar will be held from 19:00-20:30 HK time.

Innovative ideas are reshaping the construction industry as they reduce environmental impact, increase productivity, and improve site safety. Gammon’s digital innovation department champions Gammon’s vision of being the smart and digital contractor of choice. The team, consisting of Digital G (a solutions specialist), Digital transformation, and digital engineering experts, works alongside projects to drive the adoption of new technology and lead the digital transformation of Hong Kong’s construction industry.

ICE HKA G&S is honoured to have Mr Jeremiah To, Digital Transformation Lead, Dr David-John Gibbs, Digital Engineering & Compliance Manager, and Mr Andy Wong, Head of Digital G from Gammon, to present on the topic ‘A glance into the digital journey of a construction company’ in this technical webinar.

Mr Jeremiah To will describe Gammon’s digital transformation journey towards a fully integrated digital project delivery method. To gain insights and support better decision making, he will provide examples of capturing, analysing and visualising construction activities using the power of data.

Dr DJ Gibbs will demonstrate how and why Gammon is leading on the digital journey towards a fully connected construction site. Establishing the best foundations in construction doesn’t just apply physically but now also digitally and he will explain the layers that makeup Gammon’s digital foundation; Standards, Technology, Information and Business.

Mr Andy Wong will explain how he is accelerating the digital revolution in construction through the Gammon spin-off, which is dedicated to bridging the gap between technology providers and construction sites. Focusing on sensors to automate site monitoring and enhance productivity, he will cover how sites should digitise to optimise their projects.

  • Registration will be confirmed on a first-come-first-served basis, and priority will be given to ICE graduate and student members
  • Only successful applicants will receive confirmation e-mail
  • Attendance certificates will be provided for this event only if attendees attend the whole event
  • Applicants with no-show records will be given lower priority in future G&S events
