To raise awareness of how we can support them in supporting employees who are blind and partially sighted. As a Disability Confident Leader, we want to increase employers' knowledge and understanding about recruiting, or retaining, blind or partially sighted people in the workplace.
Within our retention service we are working to prevent the following situations:
The RNIB are doing this by working in collaboration with employers and using their expertise and knowledge around supporting blind and partially sighted people in employment, to provide training. There is currently no cost attached to the training.
