How we keep people moving safely: COVID pandemic, where we go from here, online

About this event

Please note that this event will be held from 19:00 - 20:30 (Hong Kong, GMT+08:00).

Public transport is an essential service that provides access for personnel to reach their destinations safely, especially in times of pandemics.  As one of the sectors that is significantly affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, Mass Transit Railway (MTR) has to maintain operations through this challenging time while mitigating and managing the health risk of staff and customers.

ICE HKA G&S is honoured to have Dr Vincent Ho, Head of Corporate safety, MTR Corporation, to introduce how MTR responds to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis through preparedness, quick response actions, innovation and good practice sharing.  He will highlight the substantial changes made to manage their organisations and serve the customers in this unprecedented, rapidly evolving and uncertain environment. The Speaker will also share lessons learned from their Infectious Disease Business Continuity Plan and how they plan for post-crisis business resumption.

  • Registration will be confirmed on first-come-first-served basis, and priority will be given to ICE graduate and student members
  • Only successful applicants will receive confirmation e-mail
  • Attendance certificates will be provided for this event only if attendees attend the whole event
  • Applicants with no-show records will be given lower priority in future G&S events
