ICE London Graduate & Student Annual General Meeting, online

About this event

The ICE London Graduates & Students Committee is an active group of young and aspiring engineers who live or work in the London region. The committee organises and delivers a range of activities for the benefit of other early-career engineers, the wider profession and the general public.

Activities delivered by the committee in the past year include:
  • Evening lectures, seminars and webinars.
  • The ICE London Big Debate
  •  Monthly diversity campaigns
  • STEM engagement with local schools
  • Committee socials

The 2020 AGM will include a short review of the committee's activities over past year and a preview of the plans for the coming year, followed by the all-important voting-in of the 2020-21 committee.

The committee is formed of around 25 named-roles, split into Knowledge, Membership and Informing Opinion sub-groups. In addition, the committee is open to general members who contribute what they can, when they can without any obligations. All London-based Graduate or Student grade members of the ICE are welcome, including full-time undergraduate or graduate students, apprentices and graduates.

To find out more about the roles that will be open for election at the AGM, or for more information about the committee in general, contact Ashkan Amiri, Honorary Secretary, at [email protected].

Although not essential, we ask anyone planning to stand for election to a named role to inform the Honorary Secretary in advance of the AGM.
