Keith Jones, Director ICE Wales Cymru, Emma Antrobus, Regional Director ICE North West and Mark Evans, Senior Programme Manager, Network Rail, will talk about the necessary attributes and qualifications for becoming a Fellow of ICE.

ICE Wales Cymru Regional Director
Keith is a Chartered Civil Engineer, Chartered Environmentalist and Fellow of ICE. He has been in post since May 2008, prior to this he was Operational Manager Highways at the Vale of Glamorgan Council, responsible for all highway maintenance operations including management of the DSO contracting unit as well as Environmental Manager for the Council.
Keith was in Local Government from 1967 to 2008 holding a range of posts involving engineering, highways, infrastructure and drainage. Former Chairman of the County Surveyors Society Wales Engineering Committee and member of the UK Roads Board, advising Government on Highways issues.
He is a member of the Cross Party Groups on STEMM and Construction and Industrial Liaison Boards at Cardiff University and Swansea University.
ICE North West Regional Director
Emma has been the North West Director of ICE since July 2018, overseeing the activity and budgeting for more than 6500 members in the region. ICE has more than 93,000 members across the world in all sectors of engineering including transport, housing, development, energy and water.
Having done a business with manufacturing degree, Emma has spent most of her career working with and supporting businesses in all sectors towards improvement and change, with a focus on the engagement with and understanding of policy focusing on infrastructure projects including rebuilding Manchester city centre following the 1996 bomb, Northern Hub and HS2.
Senior Programme Manager, Network Rail
Mark is a customer-focused business leader with delivery, programme management and commercial acumen credentials that have been gained in rail, civil engineering consulting, client, and contractor environments. He has a career history that demonstrates leadership, a strong level of engineering ability and knowledge and leads a 300+ team of Network Rail professionals in the areas of engineering, design, structures examinations, project & programme management and construction with his own Principal Contractor organisation.
He also leads supplier and client reviews at director/executive level ensuring safe, compliant, and on-time delivery for the portfolio of works under his accountability and manages delivery to support other directorates in Network Rail.
