Abstract: The BAE Systems site is Barrow in Furness is undergoing a major transformation to allow the build of the new Dreadnought Submarine Fleet, 22 projects ranging from raising the dock water level to Nuclear New builds are ongoing This is all taking place on a site producing the current attack fleet of Hunter Killer submarines.
For seven years Tim Shuttleworth worked on the site latterly as the Senior Quality Manger for the Civils Build and this talk will take you through the way BAE integrated Submarines and Civils.

Tim has been head of Quality for Balfour Beatty at Hinkley Point C since 2018, managing both the HPC and Avonmouth sites with his team. Previously Tim spent 7 years working for BAE Systems where he was involved in the redevelopment of the Barrow in Furness site as Senior Quality Assurance Manager.
