Sustainable Development principles, Birmingham

About this event

A seminar to look at sustainable development principles in the region as part of the West Midlands Chair’s Programme.

The Chair’s Programme considers how industry can balance the environment, people and the economy and provides insight into how sustainability principles can be embedded into the procurement process to ensure the long-term resilience of the planet’s resources.

Questions the seminar will seek to answer are:

  • What is sustainable development?
  • What type of procurement models drive sustainability?
  • What would excellence in developing sustainable projects look like from the perspective of the client, contractor and customer?

Breakfast refreshments will be available from 07:45 hours.
