Overview

The East Midlands Great Debate 2023 will bring together experts from across the built environment to discuss the risks and opportunities of artificial intelligence (AI), the impact it will have on standards and professional practice and how the industry should collectively respond.

This unique inter-institutional event is led by professional bodies in the built environment: The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Landscape Institute (LI), Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).

These professional bodies represent over 360,000 skilled professionals. Together, the members make a vital contribution to the global success of the UK construction industry, a sector worth over £100 billion to the UK economy.

Register now for what promises to be a lively and stimulating debate.
