Overview

Join Myles Gatherer, principal engineer at Metro Trains for this talk discussing the challenges and opportunities identified from the first four years of operating and maintaining Australia’s first driverless railway.

The driverless railway will provide more flexibility on the already existing network. There are 20 of 23 driverless EMU’s (electric multiple unit) fully automated trains so far, with each train required to complete rigorous testing before entering passenger service.

This event is a great opportunity to for those with an interest in the national rail network.

This event has been organised by the ICE New South Wales Committee.
