The East Midlands Infrastructure Partnership (EMIP) brings together key stakeholders from ICE, East Midlands Councils and transport, flood resilience and energy sectors to discuss how improvements can be made through cross-sector infrastructure planning and prioritisation.
The aim of partnership is to influence the national infrastructure agenda to ensure the regions priorities are understood and reflected in investment decisions. With a particular focus on energy, transport and water, the seminar will be of particular interest to those working in local government and civil engineers working on strategic projects and proposals in the region.
This seminar, focussing on skills, will be chaired by Adrian Coy, FICE, chair of the East Midlands Infrastructure Partnership and Andrew Pritchard, East Midlands Councils.
Speakers will include:
- Rachel Quinn, executive director at East Midlands Institute of Technology
- Vicky Evans, director at ARUP
- Steve Nesbitt, interim sector director – built environment at The Manufacturing Technology Centre
