Overview

We’re hosting our ICE East of England annual general meeting and are inviting all our regional members to attend.

It’s your chance to hear from Peter Lawton, current East of England regional chair, on progress from across the East of England region. As well as hear the plans from the incoming regional chair for 2024

We’ll also be welcoming newly elected officers to the committee, as well as new committee members.

If you are interested in nominating yourself, or someone else, to be a member of the East of England regional committee, then please send your nomination in to Katherine Etheridge, ([email protected])

All nominations should include:

  • the written consent of the candidate,
  • details of two proposers who are corporate members of the region.

If you have a question to ask, please include it in the special requirements sessions when registering.

Peter Lawton

Peter Lawton is the East of England regional chair. Peter has nearly 50 years of civil engineering experience in both the public and private sectors. Initially specializing in general civil engineering works, the demanding coastal environment of North Norfolk led to becoming adept in many aspects of coastal engineering. He has been engaged on a large number of coastal engineering projects ranging from the localised small scale works to large scale projects some of which were innovative. Clients have included Councils in England and Scotland, contractors, HR Wallingford, the insurance industry and major oil companies such as Shell and Perenco.
