Overview

Join The ICE Victorian Local Association (ICE VLA) for a visit to the North East Link, the biggest ever investment in Melbourne’s north-east – changing the way people move around Melbourne.

North East Link will comprise of twin three-lane tunnels, approximately 6.5 kilometres long, among other related work. Once completed, it will be the longest road tunnel in the State of Victoria. It will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network, take 15,000 trucks off local roads every day, and slash travel times by up to 35 minutes.

There are a limited number of places available for this visit which is kindly being facilitated by Spark NEL D&C – a multi-national consortium comprising of Webuild, CPB contractors, GS Engineering & Construction, and China Construction Oceania.

PPE essential safety requirements:

Participants must wear long-sleeved shirts and long trousers.
The following PPE (personal protective equipment) will also be required:

  • steel cap boots
  • hard hat
  • high vis vest
  • safety glasses.

Please bring your own PPE as these cannot be provided on the day.

Attendees without PPE will not be able to access the site.

There are limited places available, once all places are taken a waiting list will be created on Eventbrite.
