Challenging rail targets include decarbonisation of the Belfast to border route by 2035 and the remainder of the network by 2040. This webinar will provide an overview of Translink’s rail decarbonisation journey to date, the traction options considered, the conclusions of the initial overhead line electrification assessment and will outline the next steps.
