Overview

At the afternoon seminar, speakers will discuss their involvement in the PIANC working groups (WG) and their roles as UK delegates, providing the audience with an early opportunity to understand the outcome of each. Each speaker will report on the progress made so far and main areas of interest for the audience. There will be an opportunity to put questions to speakers. The working groups in discussion are:

  • WG 199 – Structural Health Monitoring
  • WG 211 – Design of Marine Fenders
  • WG 231 - Mooring Bollards and Hooks - Selection, maintenance and testing

This will then be followed by the annual general meeting for PIANC UK and an opportunity to join PIANC for networking drinks.
