A virtual introduction to the STEM Ambassadors programme, how to get involved and volunteer with schools?

There are currently 35,000 STEM Ambassadors nationally volunteering in local schools with the support of STEM Learning and the regional Delivery Partners.

The session will be an opportunity to find out about the STEM Ambassador programme, funded nationally by UKRI and also the new Climate Ambassador scheme funded by DofE – what they are, why they are needed, how the programmes work, and how you can get involved.

Rhona Phelps is a STEM manager at Graphic Science, a STEM engagement consultancy near Bristol working with research funders and HEI’s on public engagement and evaluation. Graphic Science is the STEM Ambassador Delivery partner for STEM Learning, covering the South West of England, and additionally working with the Met Office to deliver the Climate Ambassador programme.
