Overview
AVA is a consortium of companies including Network Rail, Expedition Engineering, X-Treme Systems, Hawkins\Browns and Walker Construction.
The team will give a talk about the work the consortium been doing towards making UK railway stations more accessible and some of the initiatives being driven to realise this goal including the AVA footbridge project.
The AVA footbridge project, funded by Innovate UK and Network Rail aims to revolutionise the way footbridges are built across the rail network reducing, time, cost and carbon in the process. The project is part of the TIES Living Lab programme.
