Our services

As well as supporting our members to become qualified, we also encourage them to continue their professional development by providing a variety of products and services.

The ICE Benevolent Fund gives advice, guidance and support to members and their families in times of need. It also offers a range of services to help members develop professionally and achieve their career goals.

ICE provides both early intervention conflict avoidance for engineering and construction projects as well as a class-leading dispute resolution service.

The ICE Image Library offers a gallery of images from the extensive collection of the Library and Archives at ICE. These include historic engineering photos, illustrations and drawings.

The ICE Library is home to one of the world's largest dedicated collection of civil engineering materials with over 130,000 publications.

ICE Publishing provides technical and management journals and books for civil engineering professionals, academics and students worldwide. Many of these publications are available through the ICE Virtual Library.

ICE Recruit is the UK's leading online 'jobs board' for civil engineers. It provides a wide range of civil engineering vacancies, including graduate and international jobs.

NEC contracts can be used for buying a diverse range of works, services and supply. They are widely used in industry because they clearly define project management principles and practices, and legal relationships. They are also the only contracts endorsed by the Office of Government Commerce.

Headquarters to the Institution of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street is a historic Grade II listed conference, event and wedding venue located in the centre of Westminster.

We aim to provide readily accessible funding to the engineering community and collaborators, and to help deliver on ICE’s business plan by enabling the built environment community to address its key aims.

From becoming a Chartered Manager (CMgr), to gaining legal qualifications, we provide and support a number of additional qualifications to help you continue your professional development.
