The ICE Benevolent Fund gives advice, guidance and support to members and their families in times of need.
The history of the ICE Benevolent Fund spans 150 years and, during that period, it has helped over 30,000 civil engineers and their families. No one’s immune to life’s challenges. Not even ‘fixers’ like civil engineers. Our support services are here to help you in times of difficulty or hardship.
What can the Ben Fund help with?
Our toolkit of support and development equips ICE members and their families to deal with the pressures of everyday life.
It also helps members reach their potential in their personal development.
Whatever the size and shape of your need, our practical and effective support gives you the time, confidence and resources you need to move forward.
Life's challenges come in different guises from crises such as redundancy, illness and bereavement to the more predictable such as retirement preparation, financial planning and career progression.
We’re here to help all civil engineers who are, or have been, members of ICE, both in the UK and worldwide. We’re also here for their families.
Visit the Ben Fund website to browse the range of help on offer or to get in touch.
