QUEST Undergraduate Scholarships 2020 and COVID-19

Despite school and college closures and the uncertainty regarding A Levels, BTECs and SQA qualifications this summer, please do not be concerned about applying for the QUEST undergraduate scholarship.

Provided that your predicted grades have matched our requirements and you have a confirmed university place for September, you will be eligible, regardless of how it is eventually decided to award grades.

 

There are 7 annual QUEST awards each with their own purpose and entry requirements.

Undergraduate Scholarship

Students due to start the first year of a JBM accredited full-time civil engineering degree course in the UK.

Worth up to £8,000 plus early links to potential employers

Scholarship

Student, graduate or technician members, starting or continuing part-time qualifications in civil engineering or construction from autumn, meeting EngTech requirements or progressing to IEng.

Worth up to £1,000 plus early links to potential employers

Technician Plus Scholarship

Please note there is now one QUEST Technician Scholarship merging the previous Technician and Technician Plus scholarships.

If you are a current QUEST Technician Plus scholar please complete a report for the past year, and email it to quest.awards@ice.org.uk by 2 October 2020

Eloise Plunkett
Award

Newly professionally qualified female members (CEng, IEng or EngTech) based in the UK and undertaking a project abroad with a civil engineering focus.

Worth up to £2,500

Kenneth Watson Travel Award

Student members (individuals or groups) who have completed their first year of study in the UK but travelling abroad to take part in civil engineering related projects or activities.

Worth up to £1,000 for individuals and £3,000 for groups

Graduate or professionally qualified members (CEng, IEng or EngTech – individuals or groups) with 2 years membership who are travelling abroad for civil engineering related projects or activities.
