The ICE recognises that members and non-members who generously volunteer their time and expertise contribute greatly to the success of the institution.
Your work directly helps the ICE to improve lives by ensuring the world has the engineering capacity it needs to enable our planet and our people to thrive.
It is the ICE's policy that volunteers should not be out-of-pocket as a result of certain volunteering activities.
The policy enables volunteers to claim for certain reasonable expenses that they incur in the course of their volunteering activities.
This applies to, but isn't limited to, trustees, council members, committee members, and non-executive members of the TTL Board.
If you're unsure if the policy applies to you, please check with the meeting or event organiser before you incur expenses.
Full details of the volunteer expenses policy are available to download from this page.
