Overview

The Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland (AMIDS) South plays a key role in completing Renfrewshire Council’s proposed network of infrastructure projects by connecting the town of Paisley by all modes of transport and providing direct links to existing and planned active travel routes (ATR).

The proposed AMIDS South scheme requires the:

  • Upgrade and widening of approximately 1.7km existing road & new carriageway construction
  • New sewer structure into White Cart River
  • Construction of a new offline road over a 550 m route, which will establish a link to the new School
  • Upgrade of existing retaining walls, 340m for riverbank retention work at the east bank of White Cart River
  • Construction of a new 93-meter span steel arch bridge over the White Cart Water
  • Piled Scottish Water Sewer crossing

At this event, join us for an informative presentation of the project, followed by a visit to the bridge area of the project.
