Overview
Transport Scotland is the first overseeing organisation in the world to specify monitoring of the asphalt construction process - from batching to compaction - through entirely digital means.
This talk will discuss the industry leading technology that is enabling contractors to remove technicians from site and be part of this world first.
Automated laying records, digitised compaction monitoring, laser surveying for texture and straight edge, and advanced reporting for data inclusion in asset management and deterioration modelling systems.
