Overview
Join the ICE East Midlands Nottingham Leicester Derby Branch (NLD) for a presentation on the Witches Oak water treatment works. This is Severn Trent's first new facility in over 25 years, aimed at enhancing the resilience of their potable water grid and improving service levels across the Midlands.
This presentation will cover the long-term resilience goals of this project as well as give detail into the design that addresses numerous interfaces with both operational and mothballed assets, many of which are under construction.
The Witches Oak water treatment works represents a significant step forward in ensuring a reliable and resilient water supply for the Midlands, showcasing Severn Trent's commitment to innovation and sustainability in the water industry.
