A giant on the Liverpool waterfront, the new Everton stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock stands proud against the River Mersey.
Organised by ICE Merseyside, this presentation will be detailing the new stadium’s reinforced concrete frame and bowl, with a focus on modern methods of construction, the structural steel frame by subcontractor Severfield, and the impressive external works.
The speakers will give insight into the construction of a major project in the UK and how Laing O'Rourke have delivered the project, utilising innovative solutions to combat difficult weather conditions.
As a precursor to this event, it is encouraged to watch back the John Sargent Lecture: Dock filling for the new Everton stadium project at Bramley-Moore Dock, for an insight into how the existing dock was prepared.

A series of web-based workshops aimed at graduate, student and technician members who are working toward EngTech, IEng or CEng with the ICE. These workshops provide advice and guidance on recording Initial Professional Development (IPD), broken down by attribute.

This is an opportunity for Technician members (EngTech MICE/FICE) and those wishing to become qualified at EngTech grade to come together to discuss issues that are important to technicians. This session explores becoming an ICE EngTech reviewer, with benefits and applying.

Join the ECNet for this technical webinar about the design of active travel infrastructure. Two Incorporated Engineers from Mott MacDonald will share key learning from a redevelopment scheme focusing on active travel, and a new layout for the design of CYCLOPS junctions.
