Overview

Data is the world’s most valuable resource.

Across the industry, a reactive approach to geotechnical asset management is still the most commonly utilised however, this method puts unnecessary pressures on asset owners who are required to remediate and fund unforeseen schemes with little warning.

To allow asset owners far more autonomy and control of their assets, and importantly their budgets, the industry must leverage the wide array of available (and often existing) data sources in order to create the tools to assist with decision-making through proactive asset management.

This talk will present a geotechnical asset management platform developed within Atkins Ground Engineering & Tunnelling which is empowering our clients to make informed decisions on their geotechnical asset management strategies over the asset lifecycle.
