Please join our ICE Northern Ireland Annual General Meeting, followed by the confirmation of Stephen Orr as ICE NI Chair 2022-23.

Stephen will present his in-person Chair’s Address in the Lecture Hall at The Peter Froggatt Centre at Queen’s University Belfast.

Following his address, you have the opportunity to join Stephen for his Chair’s Supper.

Stephen Orr BEng CEng FICE

Stephen Orr BEng CEng FICE is a proud and passionate Civil Engineer and will seek to positively represent the ICE NI Region and continue the excellent work of the past Chairs of this fantastic region.

Stephen’s engineering career was spent mainly in the design of rivers, coastal, and waste water engineering projects with the first 6 years at Kirk McClure Morton and the past 23 years at Atkins. Since 2013, he has focused on commercial matters and is the Commercial Director for the £300m Atkins UK & Europe Infrastructure Division. He leads a team across the UK and focuses on the commercial matters of large contracts including D&B JV’s.

Stephen has a long involvement with ICE from the G&S Committee, NI Region Secretary, General Member of Council and Vice Chair.

He is married to Sandra (also FICE) and has two children (Sophie and Daniel).
