Overview
Passive fire protection is used to protect structures such as high rise buildings, tunnels and oil and gas facilities. Different fuel sources and environments give rise to different fire types. These are modelled by different tests and standards. There are many solutions on offer which need to be chosen carefully based on fire type, relevant standard and end use environment.
The presentation will talk through the most common fire types and standards. It will discuss the main passive fire protection types, with an emphasis on coatings, based on Safinah Group’s expertise.
