A short AGM for the ICE Glasgow and West of Scotland branch, to be followed by an address from their incoming Chair for the 2022-2023 session: Kirsty Jamieson

Kirsty Jamieson is a chartered civil engineer who has spent over 25 years in a design role, primarily in consultancy. From bridge inspections, assessments and design to highways project delivery, Kirsty will describe how her career as a professional engineer has been shaped throughout by the influence of interesting projects and people.

Kirsty Jamieson

Kirsty is a chartered civil engineer with over 25 years’ experience primarily in design consultancy.

From her first position as a graduate engineer with The Highland Council in Inverness to becoming a Director at Tony Gee and Partners LLP, Kirsty has worked on bridge assessments and detailed design in the highways and rail sector, through to major project delivery.

As a STEM Ambassador Kirsty has worked with many schools to introduce pupils to civil engineering and the career opportunities it brings, with a particular focus on attracting more girls to the profession.

Kirsty has been an active member of the Institution of Civil Engineers in the Glasgow and West of Scotland branch for several years.
