Overview
MetroLink is the proposed high-capacity, high-frequency rail line running from Swords to Charlemont, linking Dublin Airport, Irish Rail, DART, Dublin Bus and Luas services, creating fully integrated public transport in the Greater Dublin Area.
This joint event between ICE NI and EI will be presented by the scheme’s Project Director, Design Coordinator, and Coordinator of Major Contracts:
- Aidan Foley will provide an update on the scheme, as it approaches the railway order planning application stage, and the preparations underway to ensure the Client organisation is configured and resourced appropriately to successfully deliver the project.
- Peter Bennett will provide an overview of the MetroLink Railway Systems, outlining the work undertaken to date, which will ensure the Client Requirements are accurately captured, specified and tracked through all stages of design development and delivery.
- Steven Burgess will provide an update on the emerging procurement strategy for the scheme, TII’s emerging approach to risk management and provide an update on the current procurement timelines.
