Overview

Civil Engineers shape the world with their minds. But just like our bodies, our brains need care to stay in peak condition.

This session explores the vital connection between brain health and dementia. Whatever age you’re at, the choices you make today can shape your cognitive future.

During this webinar, we will explore:

  • Dementia: why it’s not just an ‘old age’ issue
  • Brain health basics
  • The connections between cognitive function and wellbeing
  • Lifestyle strategies to boost brain performance and reduce dementia risk
  • Risk factors for dementia and what you can do about it
  • Cognitive stimulation therapy – what is it?
