The Communication Task is incorporated into the ICE’s Professional Review process, replacing the previous written exercise component.
The ‘CEng Communication Task Group’ event series will provide guidance on how to communicate well within a series of industry-specific themes.
The first session will focus on the topic of transport and connectivity within a civil engineering context.
Although this event is open to all ICE members, this event may be particularly useful to those who are preparing for their Professional Review at CEng level and is not applicable to those following the English degree apprenticeship leading to an End Point Assessment.
This event is hosted by ECNet committees from the Scotland region (Edinburgh and Glasgow) using Microsoft Teams. The session will be hosted and moderated by regional committee members, where session content will be presented by guest speakers or ICE staff members at times.
The sessions within this event series will not be recorded.
The format of the session will consist of:

18:00 - 18:05
Welcome and brief introduction from ICE regional committee member hosting/moderating the session
18:05 - 18:15

There will be a series of six sessions within the CEng Communications Task group.
