Samuel is a bridge design engineer working with AmcoGiffen. With over five years of experience in bridge and structural design and assessment, he has a strong understanding of the technical aspects of bridges and the mechanisms that enable them to stand and perform safely. His work often involves the design of bridge replacements and structural repairs, giving him experience in developing practical engineering solutions for a range of challenging projects.
Samuel is a strong advocate for the Institution of Civil Engineers, holding the role of Networking Lead for the Glasgow and West of Scotland Early Careers Network. He is regularly involved in organising and hosting events throughout the year to raise awareness of the benefits of ICE membership and showcase interesting topics within civil engineering.
As a STEM Ambassador, Samuel also delivers presentations and hosts bridge-building workshops at schools, helping to inspire and encourage the next generation of civil engineers.
