Overview

The Core Valley Line Transformation is a Welsh Government £1bn+ programme consisting of railway infrastructure upgrades and new rolling stock. It will improve rail transport in South-East Wales (Valleys), providing faster, more frequent and higher quality services across the Core Valley Line Infrastructure

This event will explore three key infrastructure areas, covering the technical challenges and solutions delivered to meet the required client outcomes for this project.

The topics will cover the construction of the Taffs Well Depot, our smart electrification solution and how it re-imagined traditional approaches and the system integration process delivering many cutting edge and industry- first innovations both large and small.
