Find out the results of the ICE subscriptions ballot and 2025 council elections.
Members have approved the proposed 4.2% increase in member subscription, transfer and entrance fees for 2026.
Over 67% of members who took part in the ballot voted in favour of the proposal. The outcome will help the institution to maintain and improve member services in the future.

ICE Council elections
The ICE membership elected 11 council members to direct the lifelong learning and engineering knowledge of the Institution.
This follows the annual election which took place throughout June and July 2025.
Anne Frances Kerr, Tim Harman, David Littlemore, Tina Gunnarsson, Noemi Barrington and Francis Kwateng were elected to the council as general members.
Susan Hawkes (South East), Chris Campbell (Yorkshire & Humber), and Fiona Barbour (Scotland), were elected within their respective regions as regional members.
Enrique Huertas was elected as an international member for Europe and Central Asia.
Victoria Davies was elected as a graduate member.
Results of the elections were announced at the ICE’s AGM on 22 July 2025. Those elected take office from the 4 November 2025 and will serve for three years.
Could you make a difference?
Around one-third of council members are elected each year, usually for a three-year term.
