Join engineers from Cementation Skanska to discuss the piling works completed on Glasgow’s state-of-the-art Energy from Waste facility. The presentation will highlight the key learnings and successes of the project. 


Scientists and engineers from the UK and Portugal are currently working together to develop low-carbon ground energy systems, predominantly to cool buildings in hot cities. This presentation will present the concepts developed to date, including the drilling work recently completed in Lisbon. 


This event will examine the Aberdeen Hydrogen Hub which aims to deliver a scalable, green hydrogen production, storage and distribution facility in the city powered by renewable energy. 

The energy sector continues to provide new challenges to geotechnical engineers. Anthony Leung and Anh-Minh Nguyen, editors of a new themed issue of the ICE Geotechnical Engineering journal, say they are more than ready.
