As part of of our ongoing ICE 200 activities, we're looking at the history of Preston's dock - built by civil engineers. Records describe the project as being 'plagued from the outset with problems'. Civil engineers met the challenges and provided the solutions. Find out about the renowned civil engineers involved including the infamous Edward Garlick of Preston.
