ICE East Midland's various committees and panels bring together like-minded people and give members the opportunity to increase their knowledge, get advice, and raise the profile and standard of civil engineering.
ICE's work in the East Midlands is carried out by the regional committee. It's made up of branch members and interest groups and is supported by the Regional Support Team. Committee members are volunteers and come from a range of backgrounds within the civil engineering profession.

The East Midlands regional committee is made up of volunteers from all of its branches, special interest groups and sections. It sets the direction for ICE in the East Midlands and carries out the ICE business plan.

The Knowledge and Networking Committee organise a programme of local events, activities and meetings to support ICE members in their area.
They promote the work of civil engineers to schools, the media and the public, and advise policy makers in the region on civil engineering issues.
They represent their members on the regional ICE committees and provide access to professional training and qualifications.

ICE East Midlands has a number of special interest groups which focus on a range of areas of interest for its members. If you would like to get involved in one of these groups, then please contact the relevant chairperson.
The committee provides a focal point for geotechnical interests in the East Midlands, and organises events which offer professional development opportunities to civil engineers in the region.
