ICE Wales Cymru works to support our members in the region and to raise the profile of civil engineering.
To get involved with awards, or for support on fellowship, AMICE, events and wider stakeholder working, the Regional Support Team is here to help.
We’ll always respond as quickly as possible, although some staff work part-time.
The Membership Recruitment Team will guide and advise you on any membership related queries.

The Wales regional support team is based at the ICE Wales Cymru office in Cardiff. However, due to Covid guidelines, the team are currently working from home. The team works to support our members in many ways including online knowledge events, regular eNewsletters, ecomms.
We also help raise the profile of civil engineering through Awards, regular social media posts, interaction with local media and educational establishments and can provide you with expert comment or help put you in touch with civil engineering experts.

Keith is director of ICE Wales Cymru. He is responsible for all ICE's work in Wales, hosting and organising online and face-to-face events, and liaising with Welsh Government and affiliated organisations. He is also the main ICE media contact. Keith provides advice and guidance on becoming an ICE Fellow, ICE Reviewer, AMICE, Chartered Manager, Chartered Environmentalist, ICE Panel membership and how to engage with the industry/sector.
Anne is responsible for Finance, Education and Inspiration Events including STEM activities, co-ordination of the Annual Awards, promotional and annual events for ICE Wales Cymru. As events co-ordinator she organises and judges a section of the People Awards and the ICE Wales Cymru Photo Competition. Anne also assists with day-to-day knowledge events and edits the annual Connect magazine. Anne works 4 days per week Monday to Friday on a rota basis.
Julie is responsible for all the marketing and communications across Wales. This includes media liaison, press releases, eNewsletters, social media, event promotion and the Wales news, awards and blogs section of the website. Julie works from Monday to Wednesday.
Jessica is responsible for events in the region – conferences, webinars and in-person. Jessica works 3 days per week usually Monday to Wednesday.
Membership development officers (MDOs) provide in depth information about becoming a member of ICE.
They often carry out visits to your place of work, hold regular advice surgeries and provide training to help you becoming professionally qualified.

Michelle is responsible for managing membership support across the South West & Wales. She also provides support for aspiring members and employers in Cornwall and the Channel Islands, Hinkley Point C (and associated employers) and the Environment Agency.
Kate is responsible for membership support and provides MDO visits and guidance for aspiring members and employers in South Wales (mainly CF and NP post codes). She specialises in the analysis of the effectiveness of employers’ delivery of the ICE Training Scheme.
Emma is responsible for membership support and provides MDO visits and guidance for aspiring members and employers in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset and parts of Devon (EX post codes). She is also the primary contact for Network Rail teams across the South West and Wales and leads our support to our new Graduate members.
Suzanne is responsible for membership support and provides MDO visits and guidance for aspiring members and employers in and around Bristol, covering all BS post codes. She is also the primary contact for Magnox teams across the South West and Wales and specialises in apprenticeships development.
Emma is responsible for membership support and provides MDO visits and guidance for aspiring members and employers in parts of Devon (non-EX post codes), south west and north Wales. She is also the primary contact for Atkins teams across the South West and Wales.
Caroline Kelley is the membership support coordinator who deals with enquiries about Professional Qualification events in your region.
Charlotte Chevalier is the membership support coordinator who deals with enquiries about Professional Qualification events in your region.
Ashleigh McKenzie is the Membership Support Coordinator who deals with enquiries about Professional Qualification events in your region.
