Overview
This site visit will explore the delivery of sustainable urban regeneration at Wood Wharf, one of London’s largest mixed – use waterfront developments. The visit will provide insight into how sustainability is embedded at the district scale, from energy infrastructure and low-carbon design to climate resilience and public realm planning.
Participants will gain an understanding of the engineering and construction strategies used to reduce operational carbon, including district heating systems, efficient building services and future-proofed energy networks.
The event will include a guided site walkaround, technical explanations from project representatives, and opportunities for questions and discussion.
