This event is led by the Early Careers diversity and inclusion Sub Committee, and is designed as a relaxed, after-work get together, that creates an informal and welcoming environment for women across the civil engineering industry.
Its purpose is to encourage open conversation, providing a supportive space for attendees to share experiences, discuss challenges and opportunities, and build meaningful professional connections.
The session will be hosted by members of the Early Careers committee, Eleanor Lawton (Chair) and Bronagh McFarlane (FIR lead), who will provide the introduction to welcome attendees, outline the purpose of the event, and set the tone for an open and supportive conversation. They will also deliver the closing remarks, summarising key themes from the discussions and highlighting opportunities for continued engagement.
