Book nowThe Hong Kong Institution of Engineers Young Members Committee (HKIE YMC) and the Institution of Civil Engineers Hong Kong Association Graduates and Students Division (ICE HKA G&S) are pleased to co-organise an evening safety talk that brings together students, young professionals, and industry practitioners to explore the importance of safety in the engineering profession.
Safety remains a fundamental consideration throughout the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of engineering projects. Through this seminar, participants will gain valuable insights into current industry practices, key challenges, and lessons learned from real project experiences. The invited speaker will share professional perspectives on fostering a positive safety culture, enhancing risk awareness, and promoting safe and sustainable working environments within the engineering and construction sectors.
The session will feature a presentation by the guest speaker followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage directly with the speaker and exchange views on contemporary safety issues. The event aims to encourage knowledge sharing, professional development, and a stronger appreciation of the role that safety plays in delivering successful engineering outcomes.
