Steve is the ICE Representative for Western Canada, covering British Columbia and Yukon.
Steve Endler is a Chartered Civil Engineer with a very strong background in capital risk and contract management, project procurement and pursuit, and the delivery of large, complex infrastructure projects. These include energy and transportation infrastructure, as well as accommodation projects such as healthcare, education, police, and military facilities.
Steve is an astute commercial leader who has spent over 30 years of his career holding positions of responsibility for project delivery (PFI/P3, DBB, DB, CMR), representing either a contractor’s in-house developer lead (AMEC, Lendlease) or a project owner’s procurement advisor for the Province of British Columbia with Partnerships BC (AVP – Energy), followed by KPMG (Director), and as a construction and operations representative for Kwantlen Polytechnic University and the City of Surrey.
In addition to Steve’s enthusiasm, knowledge, and leadership skills, his experience as both a “poacher” and “gamekeeper” ensures he is a “safe pair of hands” irrespective of the asset class under consideration, and places him in an excellent position to provide commercial and contract support across all stages of the project lifecycle.
In 2016, Steve founded Infrastructure Bridge Advisory Limited, a boutique company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with the aim of providing infrastructure owners and providers alike with practical and timely procurement, risk, and commercial advice, guidance, management, and governance. All of these contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects and, where required, ongoing monitoring of an asset’s commercial performance.
Infrastructure Bridge is proud to “walk the talk”, having recently been engaged by a First Nation—the Old Masset Village Council on Haida Gwaii, British Columbia—to mentor band members in the art of site management, ensuring the project leaves a deeper legacy than the project itself.
