ICE London's various committees and panels bring together like-minded people and give members the opportunity to increase their knowledge, get advice, and raise the profile and standard of civil engineering.
ICE's work in London is carried out by the executive board, regional committee and Early Careers Network. It's made up of branch members and interest groups and is supported by the Regional Support Team. Committee members are volunteers and come from a range of backgrounds within the civil engineering profession.

The London regional committee is the focal point for matters important to civil engineers in the region. It helps raise the profile of civil engineering as a profession and a career choice and promotes continuing professional development among ICE members. It is responsible for carrying out the work ICE does in London.

ICE London’s Early Careers Network organises events, courses, competitions and various activities to help members develop their careers, get support, and to meet and socialise with other graduates.

The London region's special interest groups focus on particular aspects of civil engineering. The groups are run by members on a voluntary basis, and provide an opportunity to discuss topics, share knowledge and meet up for social activities.
The ICE London and South East England Water Panel promotes the value of water in London and South East England. It uses the professional expertise and experience of ICE and its members to influence decisions that affect London and South East England’s water environment.
