Alongside project best practice, the BCIAs celebrate great design and delivery and recognise positive impact.
The South Wales Metro and the Dearne Reach Integrated Constructed Wetland are just two of a number of projects and companies that have made the shortlist for the 39th edition of the British Construction and Infrastructure Awards (BCIA).
The awards celebrate the contributions that the industry makes to society — from fuelling economic growth and creating jobs, to improving community spaces and championing net zero.
The Sir John Armitt Prize, named after the ICE past president, is back for its second year. This award will honour a project that has gone above and beyond to deliver not just to the client, but to end users and other stakeholders, too.
